Recently, I had the privilege of exploring the concept of “serious leadership” in healthcare on the Serious Leadership Podcast with Katie Anderson. It was a powerful reminder that leadership in this field is not simply about achieving goals; it’s about embracing a profound responsibility to uphold the well-being of patients and staff every single day.

At its core, serious leadership is about leading from the heart. It’s about recognizing that every decision, and every interaction, has a ripple effect on the lives of those we serve.
