Prior to joining Value Capture, Anthony coached at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health for five years. There he supported hospital operations, including inpatient nursing, perioperative services, the emergency department, guest services, and more. Anthony is passionate about helping healthcare executives, leaders, and team members solve problems and improve safety and outcomes.
Teams Anthony has coached have reduced readmissions for congestive heart failure and cirrhosis patients, decreased morphine usage and length of stay for neonatal abstinence syndrome infants, improved timeliness of discharges, and leveraged a real-time problem solving system to resolve dozens of safety risks for patients, families, visitors, and staff.
Before serving in healthcare, Anthony was an operations leader at Alcoa, where he and his team achieved the organization's highest honor for permanently increasing plant production capacity and realizing greater than $1 million in annualized financial impact through safety improvements and increased uptime. Additionally, Anthony performed award-winning work in diversity, equity, and inclusion, helping to organize and host a global DEI summit, allying with the organization's LGBTQ employee resource group, and partnering with a local school district to provide support for minority STEM students. He also cofounded and served on the corporate leadership team of an employee resource group for new and advancing professionals, which grew to more than 400 members across facilities in six countries in its first year.
