Christopher D. Chapman, MML, LSSBB is a Senior Lean DEI Transformation Coach with extensive experience across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, and higher education.

Chris has over 20 years of leadership, management, quality engineering, and lean process improvement experience from Delphi, Kodak, Center for Excellence in Lean Enterprise (CELE) at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) Consortium, Purdue University, and Chapman Lean Enterprise.

Chris has developed and delivered lean training workshops, facilitated many rapid improvement events (kaizens), trained and coached Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt students, and provided consultation to businesses in the US and abroad.

Chris has also pioneered an innovative value stream analysis/A3 methodology that combines lean and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles to help organizations improve equity outcomes.

Chris has also earned a Diversity and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University. He has written articles and blogs for leading trade publications such as Quality Progress (American Society for Quality/peer-reviewed), Institute of Industrial Engineers, Occupational Hazards, and The Lean Post (Lean Enterprise Institute).
