Shana Padgett is the CEO of Value Capture and a healthcare innovation and lean technology strategist. She joined the firm in 2016 and has decades of experience working alongside healthcare leaders and caregivers to create safer, more effective systems and workplaces where people find more joy in their work. Shana leads with both clarity and care, shaped by personal experiences where excellent care made a difference and where system failures caused harm. That duality fuels her commitment to helping organizations solve problems at the root and build the capability to keep solving.

In her role, Shana focuses on three key areas: client delivery, team enablement, and business strategy. She helps caregivers and executives tackle tough challenges, make time for what matters most, and unlock progress. She also sets direction for the Value Capture team, defining goals, removing barriers, and making space for people to grow and contribute in ways that feel meaningful. She guides the firm’s long-term strategy and decision-making, with a steady focus on advancing safety, access, affordability, and sustainability in health and wellness systems.

Shana believes that healthcare is a human right. She knows that with the right approach and the right support, the system can improve and the people in it can thrive. What keeps her grounded is seeing real growth in the teams she works with, and knowing the ripple effects of that growth carry forward into every future role, at work and at home.
